Sun Rain - "Penta 6 / Kora"

Two new tracks from the Canadian ambient / experimental artist Sun Rain. “Kora” and “Penta 6” are two meditative, patient compositions that unspool like ribbons set free in the wind. “Kora” recalls artists like Lake Mary and Benoit Pioulard in it’s use of silence and processed noise - heavy and pregnant silence that hangs heavy in the air. “Penta 6” is a bit more straight forward, guitar melodies and twinkling arpeggios that shine in the middle distance. Absolutely stunning work.
