Hatis Noit stirring voice plays all parts of this composition, floating in as a percussive instrument as well as the commanding lead from her original recording. Armand Hammer are in top form here with Preservation serving as maestro.

From the press release, “Some background on how the collaboration came together: Erased Tapes connected with Preservation while he was living in Hong Kong working on his Eastern Medicine Western Illness album. He was impacted by Hatis Noit’s audio & visual form, and wanted to make sure his re-work “bridged sonic time” while keeping her vocal pure and intact. From there, Preservation brought in Armand Hammer to bring it full circle.”
