Antonio Ministeri - "Unstable / Glimmer"

The Italian composer Antonio Ministeri presents two tracks from the album IN BLOOM out earlier this month. Antonio Ministeri’s work here combines stirring neo-classical elements - strings and piano - with deft electronic music that highlight’s Ministeri’s approach to “electronic textures born from complex arpeggiators and wide sound spaces.” With “Unstable” those elements are used to great effect creating an emotionally resonant composition that rises and falls with intense string melodies. The closing track on the album “Glimmer” is a bit more minimalist. A meditative composition built on piano and synth melodies, “Glimmer” keeps things on a slow boil, a sweeping soundscape that highlights the more contemplative aspects of Ministeri’s work on IN BLOOM.
