These submerged, noisy passages by the Japanese experimental artist Yasuyuki Uesugi are created on exclusively analog instruments except for an MTR process. The result is a audio field full of tones buried under a layers and layers of surging tones and melodies that swing out of left-field to catch you squarely in the chest. It’s a completely three-dimensional listen.
