Sarah Pagé has full control over her technique and the harp’s potential for modulation. Bending notes before sending them through a bevy of pedals, Pagé’s harp takes on a multitude of musical voices – from Robbie Basho style exploratory rambles just teetering on the edge of distortion, to tightly wound viola strings threading the needle through more anxious and uneasy passages. The Montreal-based artist has collaborated with Joni Void and Barr Brothers, but stands alone as an incredibly exciting solo experimental artist.
