Australia based Sonic-Archeologist McDead has created a deeply felt and resonant composition with “Sonic Power Shower” anchored by a near weightless guitar line that sends out waves of delay and reverb like a pulsar star – each wave set to an eternal atomic clock. This guitar line and ambient missives are held in time by homemade electronic percussion set quite nicely in the mix – a deep propulsion that feels like it is pushing the entire composition from below while sonar synths sound at semi-regular occurrences – a bat like feeling out of the boundaries of the composition. Heavily space themed and highly engaging, “Sonic Power Shower” is a track that is easy to get lost in.
