“ASMR” is one of the more interesting tracks I’ve heard from artists reacting to the isolation imposed by COVID 19 but also their own experience having it. The curiously titled “ASMR” is a darkly abstract composition that moves from atonal modular shifts, no-input sounding arpeggios to Niblock style drones that sound deeply, deeply sick. An intense listen for sure, one that explores a deeply troubling low-end and penchant for overwhelming sound design.
Thanks for the review. It accurately depicts what I was going for, and the sense of feverish disorientation that I felt when I had COVID 19.
