“None Yet, Really” begins with downtempo bliss firmly in place. Well worn hi-hats and snares snapping like dried twigs against concrete replete with intersecting percussion lines, ebullient synth lines and disembodied vocals. About 4 minutes into the song a shift occurs that takes the entire song into a different musical hemisphere. The tempo and intensity is increased – while still retaining a core of unrequited longing.
