Responding to losing his full time job as a musician due to the Corona Virus the Netherlands based musician Daniël Tomàs went to work recording hours of work at his piano. The resulting album Pintures distills this creativity and drive into several fully fleshed compositions. “Zenith” was recorded with microphones right next the mallets creating an intimate, close feeling that mimics the proximity of being in the same room with Tomàs. It’s a melancholy melody that features wordless vocals floating atop and throughout the stately composition.
