Dae Kim presents his most beautiful piece of work yet. Situated somewhere between the classical ambition of A Winged Victory for the Sullen and the lush audio world of The Album Leaf, “A Song for the Wounded” opens on a hushed guitar melody before pulls of crystal synth and muted tonal shifts are slowly folded in. According to Dae Kim he wrote this track with the following in mind. “The song, “A Song For The Wounded”, as the title suggests, is a reminder that there always is a place for the wounded ones. The song expresses that there is never a definite answer to any questions that’s raised. Life flows as it is and as it was. As we seek for something that doesn’t exist in the first place, life can easily end in meaningless search”. Being in the ever constant now, we experience infinity in as it unfolds. Absolutely stunning work.
