Murmur - "Goo (Joseph Shabason Remix)"

“Goo” from the Norwegian based artist Murmur is provided the remix treatment by soft jazz evangelist Joseph Shabason. Light chords, plodding percussion and field recordings are met with Shabason’s characteristic saxophone - peels of highly augmented sounds that surround the main melodic structure like a soothing wind. Murmur, according to the press release has, “created a distinctive universe on her dreamy & cinematic, yet unpolished releases. Murmur, who is also a musician in Sassy 009's live band, draws inspiration from the ambient music, dreampop and singer/songwriters of the 90s, as can be heard on Murmur's debut album "Genuine Leather" (2023)”
