After a slow build up of flowing drones, “Maiden Jaunt” breaks open in the most subtle but powerful ways. Lines of reverbed out acoustic piano filter in like rays of sun through a dusty room, filling this already emotionally resonant ambient track with a golden hue that is impossible to shake off. The debut from the Singapore based artist is a something to really treasure.
